Function Band Melbourne - Previous Performances

WHITING CLASSIC, March 2009 "Vengeance" enjoyed yet another lovely day at the "Annual Whiting Classic Event" for the Werribee Fishing Club. We performed with 3 other very talented bands. The weather was perfect and it was an amazing experience, performing whilst looking out over the Werribee River with the pelicans landing and congregating on the shore. The crowd relaxed with a few drinks, BBQ lunch and live classic rock music. It was a fun and memorable day. Rock Concert in Puckapunyal - Day On The Green in October 2008 "Kangaroos were hopping across the green behind the musicians during the performance." Puckapunyal is an Aboriginal name meaning "Valley of the Winds". It was established in the times of WWII as an Australian Army Camp that at the moment is used as an Australian Army's Training Base. Musicians from Vengeance™ had a lovely time at Puckapunyal recently when they performed for 150 soldiers and their families. The setup of the concert was pretty unusual - Vengeance™ were performing on the back of a truck on the parade ground. The weather was perfect and a lot of enthusiastic response was received from the audience. Some of the comments were: "Music's great mate", "Fantastic food & Music", "You guys sound great", "Like your music", "Well done guys", "Good music..like your songs", "like the sound of your band". Kangaroos were hopping across the green behind the musicians during the performance. They didn't seem to mind rock music at all. Comment from the organiser of the event, Shane: "The band provided a wonderful atmosphere. Thanks for making the evening a good one." Casey Fields Opening, Cranbourne, February Provided musical entertainment for 1000 plus attendees at the Opening Celebration. Housewarming Frankston, May Performed for 60 friends and neighbours. Robin Hood Tavern, Frankston, December New Year's Eve Party. 50th Birthday Party at "The Wine Cellar" Melbourne CBD, October Performed for 100 guests. 'Classic Rock in a Classic Setting' 50th Birthday Party Box Hill Performed for 100 family and friends of 'Birthday Boy' Combined Businesses Christmas Breakup Party, Croydon Created a relaxing Christmas atmosphere for the employees of this business. BARLEYCORN HOTEL, CARLTON A great time was had by all at the Barleycorn on Saturday night. An enthusiastic crowd enjoyed watching "Vengeance" perform the timeless music of the Beatles, Eagles, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix and many more of the greats from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
